What is a Modern Kitchen after all?
Historically speaking, what we call a modern kitchen design first emerged around the WWI and has kept its original core elements to this day. The modern kitchen design is minimalistic and angular. It features very little ornamentation and incorporates geometric forms in the decoration.
The textured look of wood combined with the traditional, defined kitchen units of a classic kitchen has been replaced by flat smooth surfaces and built-in kitchen appliances for a sleek, smooth look.
